World Oil Tools is committed to providing our services in the safest, most cost effective manner possible, and to protecting the environment for the public and communities in which we operate.
Our objective is to have an injury and accident free workplace. Fulfilling this goal can only be achieved by having all workers actively participate in our health and safety program. Complete and active participation by each individual in every job is essential for the safety excellence World Oil Tools expects.
Workers at every level, including management, supervisors and workers, are equally responsible and accountable for World Oil Tools overall safety initiatives.
Our health and safety program has been developed in accordance with industry standards and best practices; this program will meet or exceed federal, provincial and municipal legislative requirements.
World Oil Tools understands some operators may have a health and safety program in place on their worksites that may exceed our program. In cases where this occurs, World Oil Tools will comply with the operator’s policies, practices and procedures for the duration of the project as applicable.
The safety information in this policy does not take precedence over the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. All employees should be familiar with the Provincial OH&S Act and Regulations.
